Who We Are
D’s Dreams 4 Kids was inspired by Diana Folmer, President, of Ds Dreams 4 Kids. To provide school supplies to children. Parents around the nation struggle to afford basic school supplies each year, as did her parents. Our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly in the actions of our initiatives. From the moment we started our work in 2020, we understood that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently. We strive to make a positive change in all of our pursuits.

Too Many children are simply not getting the education they deserve... and DD4K is here to do something about it.
15 million children in the US don't have money for school supplies. This is how we are making a difference.
Self-Esteem
Change for the Better
Students naturally compare themselves to their peers. Their clothes, friends, athletic abilities, all play a role... and so does classroom preparedness. Kids who lack necessary supplies become concious of this, and will even connect it to their socioeconomic status. This can lead to lack of self-confidence.

In the classroom, having the correct supplies can make all the difference in the world. Between understanding a concept or missing the point of a lesson. To include, having an effect on their creativity. Having a variety of supplies is vital for students that struggle to absorb information through conventional ways of teaching, allowing teachers the freedom to fulfill any sort of creative projects with their students.
